LION'S MANE GROW KIT

This easy to grow kit will start producing mushrooms in 2-5 weeks and can yield 2 harvests

Our grow kits are ready to fruit and do not need to be innoculated

Each kit provides enough nutrition to provide multiple flushes of mushrooms

We guarentee the freshness of every kit, which is ready to start growing as soon as you receive it.... if it doesn't grow after following the detailed instructions on our website, get in touch and we'll send a replacement

Once the block is spent it is perfect compost for the garden

LION'S MANE GROW KIT

£20.00Price
  • Enclosed in this box is a fully colonised substrate bag, this box should be used up to a week a􀀁ter purchase but can be refrigerated for  length of time as the mycelium will lay dormant when cold

Remove the spray bottle and humidity tent from the box

Carefully punch out the perforated line marked on the box to reveal the substrate bag and check the colour of the mycelium in the bag if it is white you’re good to go, if not wait a few more days to allow the mycelium to really colonise the substrate

Using a clean knife puncture the exposed plastic in a straight line horizontally the width of the opening

These mushrooms require high humidity and the bag acts as a humidity tent, lightly mist the interior of the bag with water using the spray bottle, then place the damp humidity tent loosley over the box to allow for air flow. Be sure that you allow enough room for the mushrooms to grow where the hole is cut into the box

Once the fruiting body starts to appear, maintain humidity but do not spray directly onto the mushroom as this can introduce bacteria

Place the box out of direct sun but in natural light. The ideal fruiting temperature for Lion's Mane is 16 - 18°c

Consider putting your grow kit on the end of a shelf as the Lion's Mane will grow out and hang down to fruit (like icicles)
